The goal of Manage Human Resources is to:

• Allow locations to enter new hires for Employees, Contingent Workers, and Concurrent Hires directly into UCPath with an approval framework

Learning Objectives:

• Understand and leverage using Person Org Summary Search

• Knowledge and understanding of MHR Transactions
• Understanding the types of Reports and Auditing for MHR

Manage Job will provide a modernized solution leveraging new delivered functionality to accurately and reliably process job data information directly in UCPath.

This project will:

• Improve the accuracy for processing employee job data changes
• Streamline job data transactions through specific guided processes while mitigating data entry errors
• Provide reliable and expected results with transaction changes
• Provide additional reporting and auditing capabilities
• Utilize new functionality from Oracle to improve the accuracy of employee updates and provide enhanced benefits:
  • Job Data Modernization (Manage Job tile)
  • Fluid Position Management
  • Fluid Approvals

AWE is the UCPath functionality that routes transactions for review and approval. This process ensures the appropriate users review and approve the transactions.

The PayPath Actions page is a customized component (CEMLI E-102) designed just for UC that offers a one-stop shop for processing various types of transactions, and the flexibility to submit multiple actions in a single transaction. 

PayPath Actions is a component that contains a subset of the Fields on POSITION and JOBDATA.  And is a clone of the “Recurring” ADDITIONAL PAY PAGE.

Lastly, Mass PayPath is a custom process in UCPath that enables Locations to facilitate mass data changes for Academic and Staff with regard to position, job and additional pay​.

UC Definition: Onboarding is the series of tasks that begins with a candidate formally accepting an offer of employment and ends with the new employee being ready for work in terms of employment relationship and access/setup. ​

​It includes employment activities (new hire paperwork, benefits, I-9, criminal background check), logistical activities (ID card, parking, internet access, keys), and other new hire processing activities.​

​Common Definition: Onboarding is the action or process of integrating a new employee into an organization or familiarizing a new customer or client with one's products or services.

Position Management entails of Position Control and Position Administration. The training is separated into two different sections with distinct learning objectives.
