FAQs

• Who will be impacted?
  • All Staff and Faculty
• When is this happening?
  • UCPath will be down starting on July 11 at noon through July 14, 2025, at 6 am. 
• What is changing?
  • The UCPath portal interface redesign aligns with UC’s digital brand
  • Menu navigation shifts from the left-hand side to a new top-level menu
  • Employees will see grouped tiles for Pay, Benefits and Personal Information
  • Transactors will access tools through a new Transactor Hub 
• Where?
  • There is no change to how users log in to UCPath. Users will continue to access the system through https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu.  
  • Important Note: 
    • Bookmarked or documented links to specific UCPath pages will no longer work. All users should plan to navigate using the updated menu structure.
    • Pop-Up Blocker will need to be enabled for UCPath. (Job Aid)

• Employee and Manager/Supervisor Session

  The Employee and Manager/Supervisor session will be a joint session. The first half will be geared towards Employees and the second half will be focused on Manager and Supervisor functions in UCPath.
