History & Structure
UCR has introduced new administrative structures, enhanced processes and procedures, and systems that are associated with the UCPath initiative. This initiative has many stakeholders and impacts the campus in a variety of ways.
The UCPath initiative is "cross-functional", involving several areas of campus operations. Campus ownership of UCPath is held jointly by those central offices responsible for UCPath core functions. These include Human Resources (HR), Academic Personnel (AP), and Business and Financial Services(BFS). Coordination with the UCPath Center on issues of campus-wide concern rests jointly with these offices and the UCR UCPath Campus Support Center (CSC). Convening and maintaining an effective set of resources for the coordination and support of local UCPath operations, support, and enhancement is also the responsibility of these offices, with significant assistance from Information Technology Solutions (ITS) as well as Financial Planning and Analysis(FPA).
