Employment Verification
Unfortunately, CSC Team does not provide employment verification. Employment verification is contracted out to a third-party vendor. Please follow the steps below:
- Contact "The Work Number". The website is www.theworknumber.com, if you are an employee call (800) 367-2884, using the UCR employer code 15975.
- For 3rd party inquires please call 800-367-5690 using same employer code.
If the WorkNumber does not provide you what you need you can contact UCPath directly at ucpath@universityofcalifornia.edu or call UCPath Center at 855-982-7284 press option 3 then 6 to speak to an associate or fax 855-982-2329 any documents as needed.
What is the Work Number
UCPath uses The Work Number® to provide automated employment and income verification for UC employees It is widely known to mortgage lenders, banks, apartment complexes and others who may need to verify your employment or income. The Work Number® provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- For more comprehensive employment verifications or any issues obtaining an employment verification, please submit inquiries to UCPath: 1-855-982-7284. Written requests can be faxed to 855-982-2329 or emailed to ucpath@universityofcalifornia.edu.
- For any escalation requests or employment verification prior to the UCPath Conversion (9/2018), including Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) form completion, please open a CSC case by emailing ucpathhelp@ucr.edu
