What’s Changing

These updates improve usability, accessibility and the overall user experience without changing the underlying eForm processes or functionality.

Updated eForms Appearance and Accessibility
eForms will have a refreshed look and feel. Users will notice improved readability, clearer navigation, better spacing, stronger color contrast and enhanced support for keyboard and assistive technology users.

Simplified Self-Service Form Access
For eligible self-service eForms, employees will no longer need to search for themselves before starting a form. Forms will automatically open for the logged-in employee, reducing clicks and simplifying the process.

Users with transactor or administrator access will still retain employee search functionality where applicable.

Consistent Display of Approver and Processor Information

To provide a more consistent experience across targeted eForms, employees will see general references such as “UCPath” or “UCPath Center” rather than individual approver or processor names. Form status and other applicable updates will continue to be available.

Exceed Vacation Limit eForm
The Request to Exceed Max Vacation/PTO eForm has been updated to improve usability. The comments section will default to an expanded view and comments will no longer be required for submission. Note that this eForm is only visible to users with the appropriate security role.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions via UCPathCSC@ucr.edu.
